Pros Long Battery, good input/output features, nice body
Cons cannot play DVD+R format
Recommended it? Yes

After browsing different brand names like Sony, Zenith, Philips I come up with the Toshiba SD-1900 for $169 at Best Buy. Since I pay a bit steep, I'll be more critical on quality and features.

Pros good video/audio quality, multi-format support, long battery life
Cons a bit heavy, the spinning DVD can be slightly noisy sometimes
Recommended it? Yes

I started to look for a portable DVD player as we're going to have an intercontinental flight with our 3-yr old son. We need something to occupy him besides his books and toys. My on-line research led me to the SDP1900.
