I bought this TV for my boyfriend. We did a lot of research, went from LCD to Plasma, DLP and back again. Finally we decided with this DLP TV, that duals as an LCD TV. Pros Picture is okay.  TV is easy to use.
Cons Rear Projection.  Orange band on top of screen.
Recommended it? No

Rear Projection - Lamp will burn out.  We've had the TV 3 years.  After 1 year the TV got an orange band across the top of the screen.  The orange band is about 8 inches long.  Called repair shops - told that it would cost $750-$950 to fix.  The TV isn't even worth... Read full review »

While the Panasonic Viera TVs have some cool features, it is ahead of the market.  Meaning, if you want to connect components to this TV you may not be able to as it lacks common output jacks.  It only has a digital audio output which is not compatible with some current electronics...
