The UD7006 is our very first 3D capable Blu-ray Disc player that combines HD surround sound with 3D picture. But not only that, it is also DLNA1.5-certified, which means it can stream audio and video stored on your home network. Also, to ensure top audio quality, it includes a special decoder for HD sound formats and uses a 32-bit audio DAC with 7.1 analogue channel out. The audio stage uses customized components and the unit can even play the high resolution SACDs via the fast loading mechanism. Standard DVDs gets a quality boost too - thanks to Anchor Bay s ABT 2015 VRS video processing, which outputs 1080p from standard material via the HDMI 1.4a port. But as with all Marantz players it s musicality that reins supreme, and to ensure the best from CDs there s a Pure Direct Mode. Less

Got this machine as part of a promo with my Sammy 4661F LCD 1080p. Paid $1499 for both the TV & player. Deal of the century. If I had to pay for this machine – prob would not buy Samsung. Would have gone for Sony. Seems like they have less problems playing new & old disks.
