The UD7006 is our very first 3D capable Blu-ray Disc player that combines HD surround sound with 3D picture. But not only that, it is also DLNA1.5-certified, which means it can stream audio and video stored on your home network. Also, to ensure top audio quality, it includes a special decoder for HD sound formats and uses a 32-bit audio DAC with 7.1 analogue channel out. The audio stage uses customized components and the unit can even play the high resolution SACDs via the fast loading mechanism. With an 8.5" width screen it's a very good size for viewing your DVDs. It's neither too small nor too large (at least not in my eyes). Unlike a lot of portable DVD players that I've seen, the screen is not glossy. There's nothing worse then a bad glossy screen. When...

internal speakers are tinny, but so are most of the others I tested.

The DVD-LS80 has very good picture quality, acceptable sound quality and outstanding battery life. I wanted a player to take on a trip involving long plane rides as well as trains. The battery life was important...wanted to watch at least 2 DVDs without re-charging and this machine fits that bill...
