Pros Cheap, long battery life, decent audio quality, cancels a decent amount of noise.
Cons Artificial bass level, minor complaints with N.C. quality.

---- Why do I need 'Noise Canceling'? -----

During my last cross-country plane flight I was seated next to a young man wearing what appeared to be large silver earmuffs. At second glance I realized they were actually headphones, as if the large Bose logo on the side wasn't a hint. After... Read full review »

Pros Maxell's unit costs less and still are effective for those on a lower budget.
Cons Lower quality noise reduction may not be as attractive to those seeking high end...

ears. They look and feel solid too. These headphones easily fold for storage. Using a pouch supplied with the headset helps making cord and N.C. on/off slider safer when carrying it around. Noise canceling is good for low pitch noise. I haven't flown in them, but I've worn them in noisy places and... Read full review »

Great Urban Home Theater Headphones

bytoddly6666 Mar 16, 2008
9 Helpfuls 10 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Awesome DD 5.1/DTS (it's not pseudo-surround!), good option if you live in city
Cons None so far
Recommended it? Yes

After researching all the other options (Pioneer SE-DIR800C, Sennheiser, hard-to-find Korean/Japanese imports, older Sony versions, even wired home theater headphones), I narrowed it down to the Sony MDR-DS6000 Wireless headphones - and i'm just blown away by this technology! I've listened to good... Read full review »

Great Sound

byalinford Jan 22, 2008
5 Helpfuls 6 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Great sound, very comfortable.
Cons Would like to specify the wireless channel by number.
Recommended it? Yes

These produce great sound and the rechargeable batteries last a long time. If you have a wireless computer network in the house, you may need to change the channel on the headphones to not disrupt it. Read full review »
