Pros Very good sound overall, bass handling and high volume capability.

These Pioneer HDJ1000 headphones have very good sound. Very good bass response; but they are very uncomfortable. There is too much inward tension against the ears and it's difficult to adjust to lessen the tension. The padding is too hard and small in diameter; they sit on top one's ears not around... Good value - but avoid if your head is very large

Pros Comfortable, good sound quality, effective noise cancelling, good value.

Cons May not be large enough for big heads. Fussy cable a pain in the butt.

I found these headphones to be an excellent value with good sound quality, decent noise suppression, comfortable ergonomics, and a friendly price. They make a nice seal on your head when you wear them, but they remain comfortable.
