Pros very easy to set up, an insurance policy to saving all files, no problems

Pros Capacity, looks, speed, USB, external power supply, portability.
Cons external power supply case is polished plastic which will scratch easily.
Recommended it? Yes

I am unsure why the MyBook is getting such a bad name. I bought two and use them to host data on my network for myself and my family. Much easier and cheaper than running my servers 24/7. Pros Good value, good capacity, does not power from USB ports
Cons Not the most portable drive, a separate partition for administrative files would be nice
