So my dad has some fancy-schmancy Sony remote that can probably fly the Space Shuttle. You can press 800 buttons on it and it gets up and does an Aboriginal Rain Dance while remotely activating a ukulele in Singapore. Unfortunately my mother can't figure out how use it to turn on the TV.

Pros Very low price for Expressvu 5100/5800/5900 PVR remote and what it does.
Cons Guide and exit buttons are the same color as the others. Hard to find sometimes.
Recommended it? Yes

I've been looking for a replacement for my UHF ExpressVu 5800 PVR remote because the original did not control my TV volume adequately. This is the one I chose because of it's very reasonable price. Pros Inexpensive, buttons are arranged in a cute way.
Cons You have to press the buttons way too hard.
Recommended it? No

Here in South Florida, we use a lot of ceiling fans.  They are pretty much all over the house.  We used to rely on pull-chains to control them, but nowadays, most of our fans are controlled by remote control.
