After several weeks of MiniDV camcorder research, I purchased the Canon Optura 600. I compared this camcorder to the Sony PC1000 and the Sony DCR-HC90 and the Optura 600 was a hands down winner.

To better explain my review, let me provide you the items I was looking for to qualify my... Read full review »

I have to be honest with you, I am a bit of a quality freak when it comes to video...Searching and searching for the longest time to find something that would offer me the clearest crisp video that I could "stick in my pocket". I have always found the matchbook camcorder to be the most portable, I... Read full review »

Their own cheaper models zr500 and 800 with 1/6 chip did... Read full review »

We had a baby last year and are just out of college so we couldn't afford to buy our own camcorder. We were starting to save money and look at camcorders around Christmas because we hated not being able to record all the precious moments of our baby girl. My husband happened to mention to his dad... Read full review »
