Pros Clear, loud, good bass, High DB output, comfortable.
Cons They can break easily if not handled carefully.

Pros Very good sound overall, bass handling and high volume capability.
Cons Very uncomfortable

These Pioneer HDJ1000 headphones have very good sound. Very good bass response; but they are very uncomfortable. There is too much inward tension against the ears and it's difficult to adjust to lessen the tension. The padding is too hard and small in diameter; they sit on top one's ears not around... Pros Fits comfortably, several choices of ear tips for a good fit, Bose sound quality.
Cons Expensive, but the worth the extra cost.
