Pros playing purchased/rented DVDs actually works
Cons Recording unreliable; commercial advance doesn't work; freezes up

What a rip off. Unreliable recording. Set it to record and don't count on it; moreover, when that happens the disc becomes unusable for future recording. The so-called commercial advance NEVER worked on any of the recordings that I was able to make (this supposed feature being the only reason I... Read full review »

Pros Very good machine for the price. Easy to use. Picture quality very good.
Cons Long delay turning it on or off. Flimsy remote.
Recommended it? Yes

It took about half an hour to figure out how to work it. After that, I had no problem at all recording or watching DVDs. Picture quality is great. Select chapters every 5 min. or 10 min.
