I purchased this base unit and a couple extra handsets for my home after losing faith in the 2.4 panasonic phones that kept dying on me.

Pros Lots of bells and whistles. Can listen to messages from handset.
Cons Broke Fast. Problem ridden.
Recommended it? No

Constantly had to cycle the power because the headset couldn't find the base. Lost a lot of calls: phone would ring, I'd pick up the handset, phone stops ringing as if I picked it up, but the handset can't talk to the base station. This happened frequently.
