I bought this at Costco for $45 because an existing Toshiba DVD player was beginning to have trouble playing brand-new undamaged discs. As soon as I tried to skip an ad on the first disc I put in it, the drive mechanism started chattering loudly enough to make me worried it was damaging the disc. I...
