Pros Very easy to set up and operate, plays DVDs, CDs, and MP3s, extra functions
Cons Some style issues, CD track blue screen tends to be shaky

Pros Lots of support for multiple disc and video formats.
Cons Cheap display. Complex drive mechanism has bad failure mode.
Recommended it? No

I bought this at Costco for $45 because an existing Toshiba DVD player was beginning to have trouble playing brand-new undamaged discs. Pros Picture is very good. The pan on the zoom feature has been improved.
Cons Design of unit and remote. Radio interference. Some features eliminated. Minor problem...

My old Toshiba DVD player died two months short of five years. From researching the current available players, this one seemed to have the desired features.

However, overall, it is not as good as my first Toshiba player.
