Spend your sixty dollars elsewhere

Pros It has alternative uses: a coaster, a soccer ball, fly swatter
Cons Probably a stellar DVD player, if someone could get it to work
Recommended it? No

I bought this DVD player last year at Best Buy for around sixty dollars thinking (falsely) that by 2007, DVD player technology has been refined enough that even a $60 unit would probably be more than I need to just watch movies on the weekends.

After one month, color dropout. Sent unit back (at own expense) replacement suspiciously exhibited same problem IMMEDIATELY. Color dropped out during program credits. Did they send same unit back to me? Is this a problem with all SD-K760s. Read full review »
