Pros Compact, portable, good sound quality, very well constructed.
Cons First unit had faulty battery pack. Bass is satisfactory, if not strong.
Recommended it? Yes

After a disappointing start, I am a highly pleased owner of a Tivoli PAL portable radio.

The disappointment came at once when the unit refused to charge, despite following all instructions in the manual and downloaded tech sheets. It turned out the proprietary NiMH battery pack was faulty... Read full review »

First: I am not an audiophile. I can't really tell if the highs are too bright or if the mids are too muddy. That being said, the iPal sounds fantastic to me. The iPal were a great value when they were released. It's essentially a white version of their PAL portable radios to match the color of the iPod.
