I was just not a believer in the amazing abilities of Tivo until recently. Part of the reason was that I just was not that into TV. I did not have any shows I had to see, nor did I have the urge to spend a month trying to figure out how to operate a new device.

I had been using the older TIVO 240004A model which was a single tuner 40-hour DVR and came across a great deal on Buy.com which was for the newer double tuner TCD649080, 80-hour DVR for $214. with shipping and a $15. instant discount and $150. rebate from TIVO.
