Pros Size, recording quality, compatible with lots of Windows programs.
Cons Some of the controls are very small, LCD screen is crowded.
Recommended it? Yes

I've owned a few gadgets in my time that were beyond useless. The "Vegamatic" (at least I think this is what it was called) was one, and if you don't know what that is, ask your mother.

Pros Great quality recordings, very sensitive mic, small size, looks nice, can use external...
Cons Records only 4.5 hours in HQ mode, control button small, eats batteries fast

This recorder does a great job. I record a lot of live lectures, and it does a great job at that. I got the one that doesn't have the digital transcriber software, but the unit itself is very good. It has great sound quality recording, especially in the HQ mode. I never tried it on the Stereo mode... Read full review »
