UPDATE AS OF 02-01-2007: ALAS, YESTERDAY ALL MY (400!) "DISC EXPLORER" ENTRIES VANISHED! THE USUAL "LOADING" MESSAGE APPEARED ON THE SCREEN, AND THEN EVERYTHING FROZE. I spent a lot of time researching my needs and what was available to fill these needs. There are really only two manufactures that presently build a jukebox DVD-Music player. Both Pioneer and Sony presently sell a jukebox style DVD player.

Although my current DVD players of choice a recent Pioneer models, I checked out Sony DVP-NS710H/B upconverting DVD player. I was recently impressed with the Pioneer DV-220V-K and Pioneer DV-420V-K.
