Pros 10.3 megapixels, Carl Zeiss lens, 3 fps burst mode, rotating LCD, great pics
Cons Heavy, slow shutter speed, learning curve
Recommended it? Yes

I traded in my 3.3 megapixel Sony Cyber-Shot for this workhorse of a prosumer camera. The Sony Cyber-Shot R1 weighs in at an incredible 10.3 megapixels.

This camera is extremely feature rich. Huge image sensor, 10.3 actual megapixel, live framing / preview modes, rotating LCD gives you... Read full review »

My husband and I were searching through a store that was going out of business for good deals.  We knew we needed a new digital camera so that was the first section we went to.   Neither of us know a great deal about cameras.  As we narrowed it down between the Sony Cyber Shot... Pros  This is just another super easy to use camera with great picture quality.
Cons The processing delay between when you take a picture and can actually see the picture
Recommended it? Yes

I really love this new camera. It has so many great features including HD Video with sound. You also have HD quality pictures with both 4:3 and 16:9 aspects as well as changing the size of megapixels from 16.1MP to as low as 5MP. You can zoom on pictures you've already taken to see on the screen... Read full review »
