The first CD player I ever purchased was in 1990, a 5 CD Sony carousel player. I paid 200 dollars. For its time, it was a great machine and gave me plenty hours of musical pleasure. That machine did not last 12 years and I have bought other brands in between but I am glad I have returned to Sony... Read full review »

This is a beautifully built machine. It is a pleaure to operate via the faceplate. The load tray is one of the finest I have seen. The remote control however is the standard Sony cheapie but I suppose it serves the purpose.
