There must be some sort of immutable law of the universe that causes household stuff to expand inexorably to a volume just slightly larger than whatever space might be available to hold it. Ergo, clutter.

Cons Poor reception, no way to adjust antenna, no inputs, does not support MP3

Looks good and compact, but that's about the only plus. Does not live up to Sony brand reputation. One of their worse products.

I bought this alarm clock kind of on a whim... not realizing at the time the amount of features it has.

Pros Sleek style, digital volume control, selectable wake-up source and volume, battery back-up
Cons Hard-to-find alarm reset button, so-so FM reception

I was looking to replace my AM-FM clock radio for three reasons: 1) I disliked waking up to DJ chatter, 2) I didn't like that the wake-up volume was the same as the listening volume, and 3) the volume was hard to adjust using the volume dial.
