Pros Easy set-up. Good 5.1 sound on DVD player.
Cons Lack of audio inputs.
Recommended it? No

Good if you just want a $200-300 DVD player. If you want a surround sound system, get something else. This has only one set of RCA audio inputs. Thats right, ONE. Pros Surprisingly refined. Upconverting to 1080i dvd changer. Upgradable to wireless rears.
Cons Only one pair of RCA audio ins. Choppy sound switching.
Recommended it? Yes

I looked at many home theater systems for under $300. I found this one at Sears online for $249.99. Listened to all, went to six stores. The DAV-HDX265 outperforms all the competition. I purchased the Sony HT-SS370 Theater System for my small basement den and it has been a perfect choice for the job.  The system  was very easy to set up and provides high quality sound.  The price was very reasonable and I would easily recommend for a small media room or den. Read full review »
