Pros Ease of setup, number of features, appearance, low power consumption.
Cons Runs hot while providing minimal pure power to speakers.
Recommended it? No

Sometime in the early 21st century, I decided to abandon quadrophonics and upgrade to surround sound. So out with the rocks and sticks that made up the old amp, and in with the Sony STR-DE595. Turns out I took a step down. Let me explain.

Pros Simple to use system with high power. Good musicality and surround sound. Looks Cool.
Cons Limited features (but does the job), Runs quite hot, push-in speaker posts.
Recommended it? Yes

I bought this amp as I needed a 100W per channel receiver to power my new Wharfedale Movie star 60 speaker system.

It was a tough decision as there are many products at this price, all with different specs.
