The Sony Alpha SLT-A65V Digital Camera with 18-55mm Lens is a DSLR with a multitude of features, the first of which being the included zoom lens for use right from day one. If you're looking for new and game-changing aspects, the SLT-A65V has them. Sony's Translucent Mirror Technology system is one for starters. This technology allows the camera to both shoot and focus with speed and accuracy by directing light to the image sensor and the Phase Detection AF sensor. Another huge advantage to the camera - perhaps the most notable - is the 24.3Mp APS-C sensor - this gives you the ability to make huge prints and to experience detail that's absolutely outstanding. I have always been interested in photography. My problem has been venturing farther into it and becoming serious hobbyist, due to prohibitively expensive equipment and film, not to mention dark room equipment, lab costs, etc. I’ve owned some digital point and shoot cameras, but that’s all they were...
