I got it for about $600 which makes the system a lot more reasonable. Not worth $1000 MSRP.

I bought this system after Christmas at Circuit City for under $300.
Simple set up - but the speaker cables are on the large size - so if you're thinking of routing them inside anything, be advised the large computer style multi-pin connectors DO NOT come off the cables.

the sony bdv is magnificant. i absolutely love these speakers as they sound alot like the ones in the movies. they weren't that hard to set up and the midrange are great. the sound are accurate and bass is deep and clear. totally recomended.
