Best Sounding, Best Looking, Most Expensive Earphones Ever!

bybobby1digital Feb 4, 2006

Pros Exceptionally clear mids, and highs. Extended bass response. VERY comfortable.
Cons Expensive, Bass could be better for price range.
Recommended it? Yes

Let me first start off by saying that I am not the type of person that would normally pay $300 for a set of headphones. As it turned out I had a large store credit burning a hole in my pocket, so I ended up paying $269 for these babies at Ultimate Electronics. All I can say is that these are... Read full review »

Pros High quality, great sound, variety of ear pieces, the cord.
Cons Price.
Recommended it? Yes

I once heard something on a commercial that really sticks in my mind: "You'll remember the quality long after forgetting about the price". Yes, I saved the $299 and it hurt spending it on these my Shure e4c's, but they're well worth it. I chose not to save money by buying online because I wanted to... Read full review »

Pros Excellent sound quality and materials - very good at keeping noise out. Great warranty.
Cons Spendy, replacement foam tips are offensively priced. Durability.
Recommended it? Yes

I travel a fair amount and have tried a variety of products including in ear, over ear, ear bud, and noise cancelling. Each product has its pluses and minuses, but I have become a fan of the earbuds because they offer the best overall combination of isolation and sound quality. My previous... Read full review »

I love these earphones!

5 Helpfuls 6 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Sound and noise canceling functions are great.
Cons Malfunction of the left ear piece failing to produce sound after one year of use.
Recommended it? Yes

I've had my E3Cs for exactly a year, and the sound and noise cancellation has been excellent. I have worn these earphones on very noisy airplanes, used them while mowing grass, and in other noisy situation, and am amazed at how well the noise canceling function works. Even with no sound output, the... Read full review »
