One day in and I can't find a much of a downside to this player.
Hooked up via component (sorry no HDMI on either my TV or AV Receiver) to a 1080i 65" Mitsubishi WS-65907 (viewed from 12 feet) via an Onkyo TX-DS989.
No problems with playing back any media so far.

We got this player for Christmas and we like it alot. It plays a quality picture, it is lightweight and compact. The only negative about this player is that it is slow to load. But otherwise, it is a great deal and a great price.

This player does not play anything except blu ray disks and store bought movie dvds. It does not play dvds you make on pc from your video camera, no picture cd, no other format supported even though it says it supports other formats but read the fine print and it says none of them may play. I...
