What a great idea and worthless product -- for me, in a small media room, at least. While I have a lot of respect for various Yamaha products, this one is not on my list. With a Hitachi 46F500 46 inch HDTV monitor hooked up to a Comcast digital HD set top box it was time to do the same justice to sound quality as HD does to visual quality. Pros Stylish, relatively low cost (in comparison), easy setup
Cons Humming noise, fan noise, distracting LEDs, average sound, no custom sound fields

Smaller isn't always better, and that certainly holds true for miniature speaker systems. Although there has been some impressive progress regarding sound reproduction with smaller devices, Physics are still hard to overcome. Pros We can finally understand all the audio on dramas and sports events.
Cons Hate that we have to use 2 different remotes for our viewing.
Recommended it? Yes
