Average read seek times run at 8.9ms with a 7200rpm spindle speed. Data is also protected via the drive's 2MB buffer and asynchronous mirroring. Mirroring continuously creates and saves a copy of data in real time onto a second NetDisk whenever data is written to the first NetDisk. Plus, two NetDisk units to be recognized as one large drive. This drive model is fast, large and quiet.  So far no failures in the 20 or so I have purchased.  I used these to replace the stock drives that come in Dell and Lenovo laptops.  These vendors are a bit slow to offer the largest capacity drives or sometimes ship with 5400rpm... Read full review »
