Cons They can break easily if not handled carefully.

Pros Very good sound overall, bass handling and high volume capability.
Cons Very uncomfortable

These Pioneer HDJ1000 headphones have very good sound. Very good bass response; but they are very uncomfortable. There is too much inward tension against the ears and it's difficult to adjust to lessen the tension. The padding is too hard and small in diameter; they sit on top one's ears not around... The sound quality is good. The beats are crystal clear and one can hear all the details in clarity. The bass is a bit weak but sounds refined. The voices are rendered well and so is the treble. The overall clarity is comparable to expensive balanced transducer earphones.
