There are numerous features that this phone that were must haves when I originally bought it. One of them was the ability to have a base station that was not battery dependent so that I could always be certain that in an emergency I would be able to make a call. Pros Usable software, very nice display, clear sound, great range.
Cons wall mount and belt clip must be purchased separately from Panasonic website

I highly recommend this cordless phone system. The sound quality is excellent. The features are usable. Talking callerID is nice. Pros The gimmicky technology - color pictures on the phone
Cons sound quality - constant clipping of voice

The sound quality was TERRIBLE! After one month, I had to return the base and the two additional handsets I purchased due to poor sound quality.
