Pros None. Panasonic is no longer the reliable company it used to be!
Cons 50% failure rate, old technology. Do not buy this deck. Check out the Magnavox MDR515H

I'll be short and sweet here.

I'm a film and video professional. I've worked in the business for over 25 years so I know equipment. I bought this deck to replace high quality Panasonic machines we've used over the years and finally wore out.

We don't have cable, satellite, or any other pay-tv service, so when we were looking for DVD recorders, it had to have a tuner. That eliminated about 95% of the models on the market.
