Pros Excellent picture quality, fit and finish, price for performance.
Cons Proprietary mini-USB connector.  Why Panasonic?  Low light performance.
Recommended it? Yes

Overall this is a great point and shoot camera!
This is a great little camera if you plan on taking the bulk of your shots in well lit areas.  The zoom level is great and the clarity of the photos is quite impressive.
