As a background, I had purchased both VTECH 5.8 GHz multiple handset phones and the equivalent Unidens over the past year and the Uniden provided inferior voice quality. Pros Good sound, 50 number phone book, intercom function to any handset
Cons Pricey, $140 from an internet store

This phone system has 3 handsets that work from one base which is hooked to only one phone line. Two of the handsets can be placed anywhere in the house and plugged into an electrical outlet which keeps them charged.

Pros Usable software, very nice display, clear sound, great range.
Cons wall mount and belt clip must be purchased separately from Panasonic website

I highly recommend this cordless phone system. The sound quality is excellent. The features are usable. Talking callerID is nice. Pros The gimmicky technology - color pictures on the phone
Cons sound quality - constant clipping of voice

The sound quality was TERRIBLE! After one month, I had to return the base and the two additional handsets I purchased due to poor sound quality.
