Cons random play takes a little to long to change disks as the "elevator" travels

First off this lower mid-class changer from the early 1990's is one of the best sonically and presents very good soundstaging. The highs are crisp with no "lispyness" and the bass very tight when it should be and clean with very low frequencies, no distortion and sharp with computer generated... Read full review »

Got this second hand for a pittence of just £65 on ebay, it has incredible depth of sound, outstanding definition and build quality is no less than you would expect from pioneer, i got mine with remote and manual which shows it was looked after, if you get chance to get one you will not regret it,... Pros Great sound, plays MP3s, IR Onkyo link, 6 discs, coaxial & optical digital outs
Cons Lower SNR than Denon, No HDCD support, No SACD support

Player worked well at first but after a couple of months would occasionally not recognize that a CD was loaded. It would scan all six slots and then would display No Disc.
