Pros Convenient size. Good voice clarity. Includes pouch and wrist strap.
Cons Poor quality images. "Buggy" software. Poorly written manual.
Recommended it? No

You've heard a phrase about multi-function devices that "they do many things, but none of them well". That might well describe the Olympus W-10 voice recorder/digital camera combo device. They are now available for around $99.00 retail (U.S.) as of March, 2003.

Pros Easy to use, intuitive commands, hardly needed to read manual.
Cons LCD only, no back-lighted display.
Recommended it? Yes

Pros 1 GB memory, long recording time, excellent sound and playback.
Cons Lightweight, flimsy construction, slow scrolling of MP3 tags. No protective case.
Recommended it? Yes

This is a great product, overall. I've owned Olympus and Sony voice recorders, and am extremely satisfied with this latest offering from Olympus.

Pros Great sound quality and VERY easy to understand how to use.
Cons Built in usb port could possibly get bent if bumped while plugged in.

This is a great recorder AND mp3 player. I bought it for recording, but after putting a few mp3's on it, I am blown away by how well it sounds with headphones.
