We bought the black one for a road-trip to Florida. We already had an Olympus Ultra-Zoom Camedia that takes wonderful high resolution photos with perfect colors. For me, this camera was purchased as a secondary camera. I already own a heftier DSLR, but wanted a simple point-and-shoot to have more as a carry-along for everyday use. After doing some reviews, I found that this camera seemed to meet all of the criteria I needed.
