Pros Convenient size. Good voice clarity. Includes pouch and wrist strap.
Cons Poor quality images. "Buggy" software. Poorly written manual.
Recommended it? No

You've heard a phrase about multi-function devices that "they do many things, but none of them well". That might well describe the Olympus W-10 voice recorder/digital camera combo device. They are now available for around $99.00 retail (U.S.) as of March, 2003.

Pros Easy to use, intuitive commands, hardly needed to read manual.
Cons LCD only, no back-lighted display.
Recommended it? Yes

For my purposes (mostly business and home-life organizing), this unit has turned out to be ideal. I've had it for well over a year and use it consistently and everyday, primarily for voice memo recording. The camera feature is more than adequate for my limited needs.
