To make gaming as accessible to people of all ages and all abilities, Nintendo wanted to create a controller that was as inviting as it was sophisticated. The outcome is the Wii Remote controller. Nintendo fused the familiarity of a remote control with the sophistication of motion-sensing technology to come up with an input device for the ages!Sporting the size of a traditional remote control, the wireless Wii Remote controller is a multifunctional device that is limited only by the game designer's imagination. In a tennis game, it serves as your racket you swing with your arm. In a driving game, it serves as your steering wheel. For first-person shooters, the remote acts as your weapon that you point at an enemy. The list of potential uses goes on and on.Using Bluetooth technology, the wireless Wii Remote controller sends your actions to the Wii console from as far as 30 feet away. As a pointing device, the controller can send a signal from as far as 15 feet away. Less

Pros Great Reception; X-Box quality; Great X-Box support
Cons Expensive; May have difficulty setting up to your wireless network
Recommended it? Yes

My kids got the X-Box 360 Elite as well as numerous games. They played and played and played and figured out how to beat or win most of the games. They wanted more. They wanted to go on-line and play X-Box Live against friends and other opponents that they did not know.

The main problem I... Read full review »

Pros easy to install, works great, and easy to get online
Cons 100 bucks for wi fi can you say rip off.
Recommended it? Yes

I got the xbox wireless adapter right after I got my Xbox 360 several months ago. Now the biggest thing about the xbox is it's online gaming and it's online content. Unfortunately the powers that be at Microsoft either due to greed or short slightness didn't put wi fi right out of the box for there... Read full review »

Pros fresh
Cons a few issues

I remember when I found out that the Wii's controller looked a lot like a remote controller. I thought it was dumb. I still don't think the Wiimote is a good idea for traditional sit-down and play games, but it is a great idea for the more active ones, and allows the Wii to do things you cannot on... Pros Brings back SNES memories...
Cons Unnecessary
Recommended it? No

You may have seen this on the store shelf and wondered "why would I ever need that with my awesome WiiMote?" or "Way to try and sucker people into buying a 'normal' looking controller, Nintendo!" Either way, you probably did not know what in the world you would use the Classic Controller for - well... Read full review »
