Play, fast forward, etc. buttons on the top, not stackable. No HDMI input.

Well, especially for its price, image quality cannot get much better than this via Component input. The player itself looks like nothing when you take it out of the the box. It's almost scary. This player is extremely slow. It is incredibly frustrating and has a tendency to freeze up. When that occurs the only choice is to unplug it as the stop, open, and power buttons will not work.
