Looking for a basic all around USB memory drive? This one is CHEAP, efficient, and reliable. Most people do not need mega flash drives so why pay more for the extra memory?

I use loads of travel drives or thumb drives with my writing and teaching, and the Memorex 1 gig blue/black is one of my all time favorites.

Pros It stores one gigabyte of data at about four megabytes per second.
Cons It feels cheap.
Recommended it? No

The new model Memorex 1 GB USB 2.0 TravelDrive looks a lot like a plastic pen knife, and feels cheap. The plastic case feels like its made from polyethylene and has slightly flexible and greasy feel to it. It swings open much like a pen knife too, but most pen knives have much nicer feel to them...
