I have a dmr e65 since february 2006. it is the best dvd recorder i've ever worked with. however, it has a major desavantage: unfortunately, the air flow inside the case it isn't very well designed so , most likely, you will have dust problems. The main problem I had with this unit and a comparable HDD/DVD recorder is that the unit does not keep good time. No matter how I set it (manual, automatic, none), it adds anywhere from 1 - 5 hours every 2 days or so. Needless to say, this destroys time recording.
