Pros Very flexible interface and maximum flexibility in programming the remote
Cons Software support so bad it cripples the product.
Recommended it? No

URC, the manufacturer, does not allow users to download software updates more recent than May 2007, unless the software is obtained from an "authorised" dealer. I purchased my remote on eBay. Obtaining a new or used remote from another user prevents you from obtaining the updated software and more... Read full review »

CON:

1. If you expect flexibility from this remote, you'll be very disappointed. The remote does what it thinks you should do rather than what you want to do. For example, you can not send a sequence of commands. So, if you want to control your lighting, you're out of luck. The data base did... Read full review »

I purchased the Harmony 1100 after my Harmony 890 went bad after only 14 months. Do not buy the Harmony 890, the LCD screens goes bad in about a year. I decided to upgrade because Logitect offered 50% off due to my model 890 going bad just past the warranty period.
