First note that this product is not just for iPod, it works with any device that has a 3.5mm headphone jack and has sufficient (volume/power) to give decent sound to a pair of speakers that the receiver is connected to. This should have been listed under Logitech Wireless Music System for iPod. Anyway: the transmission quality delivered by Bluetooth is entirely inadequate for sending to a stereo. Pros Decently priced, respectable bass response, crisp clear.
Cons No option to select whether ipod should be charged or not

These speakers are absolutely amazing. The bass response it offers is far better than I had expected and the clarity is incredible. The wireless remote has a very good range.
