Logitech's MARBLE MOUSE is one of the most useful pieces of hardware you can get for a desktop PC.  I have one of the earlier models (from about 2000) - and I cannot distinguish it from some of the model and catalog numbers that Logitech now uses;  mine still works fine.

I have 2 laptops, 3 desktops and I use this on every one of them. My hand never gets tired, I don't have Carpal Tunnel.  The only fatigue I get is from a heavy gaming night my thumb gets a little sore. If you own a laptop or a mini note book then you may want to invest in one of these wireless mouse from Logitech M505. It will only set you back about $25.00, and you can find these at Best Buy. I have had the Logitech Wireless Laser Mouse M505 for quite some time now. I mainly got it because of the small size of the receiver. I had one that was working fine but replaced it for the smaller receiver. I have to say that I am extremely happy with my purchase.
