When I received my free Harmony One Universal Remote Control, made by Logitech, I was thrilled. I am a member of an online rewards program, and received this $250 remote absolutely free! I had no idea this universal remote would be so different from the cheap $20 types I have used in the past.

Pros quick setup, fairly easy to use (way easier than figuring out 4 remotes!)
Cons expensive, may not have everything set up perfectly the first time
Recommended it? Yes

CON:

1. If you expect flexibility from this remote, you'll be very disappointed. The remote does what it thinks you should do rather than what you want to do. I purchased the Harmony 1100 after my Harmony 890 went bad after only 14 months. Do not buy the Harmony 890, the LCD screens goes bad in about a year. I decided to upgrade because Logitect offered 50% off due to my model 890 going bad just past the warranty period.
