RangeMax is an advanced Smart MIMO (Multi-in, Multi-Out*) technology that uses seven internal antennas. The RangeMax WPN824 wireless router constantly surveys your home or office environment for physical barriers and interference: The RangeMax router adapts on the fly, adjusting the wireless signal to compensate for these performance blockers. For example; if you carry your laptop from the living room to the study, RangeMax automatically senses the change and selects from over 100 possible antenna configurations to deliver you the fastest, clearest connection! Everyone will enjoy consistently high-speed connections, everywhere in your house - no dropouts and no wireless dead spots. Less

Pros dependability and range
Cons blue light flashes a lot

We have had this router running pretty much non stop since early December 2006. We have three desktop PCs connected to its LAN ports and anywhere from 1 to 3 laptops running off of it depending on how many of our semi adult kids are home. It was a breeze to setup and continues to run without... Read full review »

My old Netgear wireless router, which had been running nonstop for about 6 years, finally died on me. It was a slow, painful death stretched out over several weeks, and in the end it needed to be replaced in a hurry. Doing some searching, I found the cheapest name-brand router locally was this... I've lost count on  the routers that I've gone through in the past few months, and frankly I was beginning to lose hope. Ever since I bought a new laptop with Vista Home Premium, I've had nothing but troubles when trying to network my PCs. It seems like every router I tried crashese immediately... Read full review »
