Bought refurb Version 1, overheating causes dropped connections.

Pros It was fun putting it in the fridge to see if it would stop overheating
Cons Does not work.
Recommended it? No

When you read the specs on the router it seems like a great product.  Maybe if Linksys got it right it would be.   The problem is it overheats, and when it overheats it drops the connection.  IMO the overheating is due to using cheap parts, not using heat sinks, and packing... Read full review »

A cheap router that works

Pros Looks very nice, understandable setup for basic wired connections
Cons Wireless connections more difficult, advanced settings may be too much for novices
Recommended it? Yes

My old Netgear wireless router, which had been running nonstop for about 6 years, finally died on me. Pros stability, features, design, performance.
Cons could be confusing, somewhat expensive.

I've lost count on  the routers that I've gone through in the past few months, and frankly I was beginning to lose hope.
