Pros Looks very nice, understandable setup for basic wired connections
Cons Wireless connections more difficult, advanced settings may be too much for novices

My old Netgear wireless router, which had been running nonstop for about 6 years, finally died on me. Pros stability, features, design, performance.
Cons could be confusing, somewhat expensive.

I've lost count on  the routers that I've gone through in the past few months, and frankly I was beginning to lose hope. Pros Flexible features.  Strong signal.  Dual frequency.
Cons Software does not support many operating systems.  Odd IP addresse...

Setup at first was a problem.  The software provided requires XP SP3 or later.  Software cannot be used with XP 64 bit, or earlier operating systems.  However, software can be ignored, and router setup using a browser with URL http://192.168.1.1

I purchased this router about eight months ago. My ISP is Bellsouth and our neighborhood is wired with fiber optic cable, so the router connects directly to the network via an Ethernet cable. There is no modem.
